Paying with check?

Q1: When does my account expire?
A1: After logging in, click Your Account.

Q2: How are we invoiced?
A2: A few weeks before your account expires you'll begin to see a red renewal message after logging in. This message includes a link to a printable invoice. Click the link and print the invoice.

Q3: My station's checks are paid out of a different building -- can you send the invoice to them?
A3: We can't, but when your invoice is on-screen, copy what you see and paste it into an email to accounts payable.

Q4: I submitted my invoice for payment, but I still see a red renewal message that says I have only X number of days left before my account expires. When does that message go away?
A4: When the check arrives.

Q5: I know a check was mailed so why was my account cut off?
A5: We're pretty automated and our system didn't know the check was mailed. The check never arrived and the switch was automatically flipped to 'off' when your account expired. If the check's been mailed send us an email and will get you turned back on with a temporary expiration date. Be sure to include your login username.

Q6: There are only a few days left on my account. I know the check's been mailed and I don't want to be cut off. What can I do?
A6: Send us an email and we'll extend your expiration date by a few days. Be sure to include your login username.

Q7: I pay by check, but want to pay by credit card. What do I do?
A7: Log in and click 'Your Account'; where it says 'Payment Type' choose 'Credit Card'. Enter your card info then click the 'Update' button. Please read the next section.

Paying with credit card?

Q8: When does my account expire?
A8: After logging in, click Your Account.

Q: How do I renew with my credit card?
A: If your card is on file with us (click the 'Your Account' link after logging in) your card is automatically charged each month.

Q9: You automatically charge my card?
A9: We do. It's outlined in the Terms of Service you read when you subscribed. We are an auto-renew service, much like your Netflix or TiVo subscriptions.

Q10: When is my card charged?
A10: We charge credit cards about two weeks before your account expires. So, if your account expires at the end of July, we'll charge your card for August around July 15.

Q11: I'd prefer you charge my card on a date other than the 15th of the month. Is this possible?
A11: Our charges happen in a batch, automatically. The good news is if our attempted charge doesn't go through on the 15th, it is automatically tried again about a week later.

Q12: Will I be notified of my card being charged?
A12: We do not send notification of charges.

Q13: I was paying by credit card but now I'm seeing a red renewal message and an invoice link. What happened?
A13: This means we attempted to charge your card twice and couldn't. After the second attempt your account is automatically switched to payment-by-check. We do this so that you'll see that the charge attempts failed.

Q14: What do I do when my card expires, or if I need to update my card?
A14: Log in and click 'Your Account' to update your card information.

Q15: I now pay with credit card, but I want pay by check. What do I do?
A15: Log in, click 'Your Account' and where it says 'Payment Type' choose 'Check'. Be sure to click the 'Update' button. Change your method of payment to check removes your card info from our system.
