JASON ALDEAN’s latest, Burnin’ It Down, is the fastest selling country single of 2014. After just nine weeks, the tune has achieved platinum status for sales of more than 1 million.

LADY ANTEBELLUM, LITTLE BIG TOWN and THE BAND PERRY have been added to the lineup of performers for the 48th Country Music Association Awards, taking place November 5 at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena. They join previously announced performers LUKE BRYAN, KEITH URBAN, MIRANDA LAMBERT and BLAKE SHELTON. The show will be hosted by BRAD PAISLEY and CARRIE UNDERWOOD.

The first Country Fan Jam is set for June 11-14 at the Tennessee State Fairgrounds near Nashville. This will be the first major event related to country music at the fairgrounds since Fan Fair in 2001. Artists will be announced in the coming months with the first list coming in mid-October.

A street in BLAKE SHELTON’s home town will be named after him. Blake Shelton Boulevard will be unveiled in Ada, Oklahoma, today (Tuesday).

LADY ANTEBELLUM performs this morning (Tuesday) on The Today Show.

FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE’s Tyler Hubbard says he was nervous about asking his new fiancee to marry him — and wasn’t sure how he wanted to pop the question. But then, as luck would have it, he ran into a guy who had a helicopter. Tyler explains: “I just met a guy last week on a private jet that we were on who happened to live ten minutes from my house and have a helicopter. … I thought [the helicopter ride] would be a cool way to still propose at the house, but not very typically.”

LADY ANTEBELLUM’s 747. The group challenged themselves musically with the project, somewhat at the prompting of Charles Kelley’s wife, Cassie, who told him the trio needed to go where they hadn’t before.

MARTY STUART’s double album, Saturday Night & Sunday Morning. The Saturday Night portion is Marty’s signature style of country; the Sunday Morning half focuses on gospel music.

KELLIE PICKLER’s The Woman I Am in pink vinyl. Proceeds from the special release will benefit Gilda’s House, named for late comedian Gilda Radner and benefiting breast cancer awareness and research.

BLAKE SHELTON’s Bringing Back The Sunshine. Blake says the album focuses more on the elements of country music he loves, like drinking and heartbreak, and is more of a return to his roots.

ALABAMA’s Alabama & Friends. The CD/DVD is from their concert at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium last year with special guests FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE, JASON ALDEAN, TRISHA YEARWOOD and others.
