Well, we know that she’s definitely a true Kardashian.]

Two South Korean sisters were separated 40 years ago and eventually adopted by separate American families. They finally found each other by accident. They wound up working at the same Florida hospital, on the same floor, on the same shift. [That’s a sweet story, but please, oh please, don’t let me be related to anyone I work with.]

FLORIDA WOMAN PERISCOPES WHILE DRUNK DRIVING
_ On Saturday (October 10) the Lakeland, Florida, police received 911 calls about a possible drunk driver using the social media app Periscope to broadcast herself. Periscope is a live video streaming app that allows you to video-record and broadcast to anywhere in the entire world. As a result of the video being streamed worldwide, numerous text messages were sent to the driver asking her to stop driving before she killed someone or herself. One 911 caller stated that the female was driving in the north Lakeland area, but he could not provide a specific location. The female driver, identified as 23-year-old Whitney Beall, said several times on Periscope that she was drunk and that she had a flat tire.

… As the caller was giving police dispatch the details from the video, the video was turned off several times and the caller was unable to provide a vehicle description other than it was a Toyota. This made locating Beall more difficult for officers searching the surrounding area. One officer took the initiative to utilize their personal account in an effort to locate the driver. Based on what the officer could observe, and landmarks in the area from the streaming video, officers located Beall in her 2015 Toyota Corolla with a flat left front tire.

FAMILIES OF YOUNG MEN WANT YOU TO WATCH THEM DIE IN CRASH _ Two young men in the UK (Sussex), both high, were killed when their wildly speeding car hit a church wall. The whole incident was recorded by the passenger, and was released at the request of the young mens’ families. The 20- and 21-year-old men had taken what’s been described as “a cocktail” of prescription and illegal drugs. The driver had no license, and was uninsured to drive the car. The video shows the pair driving at speeds up to 90 MPH though dark streets, around other traffic, and with little regard for the terrain or anyone else on the road. The passenger did eventually appear to become alarmed by the speed and lack of control, telling the driver to “slow down, slow down” just before the wreck. The phone continues recording after the wreck, where you can hear a woman asking if anyone was still alive inside the car. • VIDEO

… The families justify their release of the footage of the April wreck, saying, “If all this stops one person from making the same mistake, then some good has come from showing this video.”

The 8-year-old wrote in his essay: “My father is very busy on work days, and on the weekend he’s too tired to spend time with us. Charges filed against Leigh Felten — a piano teacher from Tallahassee — during her arrest on on Friday include cruelty toward a child, promoting sexual performance by a child, lewd and lascivious behavior and molestation. The document claims police in Wisconsin had reached out to their counterparts in Tallahassee after receiving a complaint from a woman who said her husband had allegedly bought and downloaded seven videos from a woman via YouTube. The woman called police because the videos — purchased using PayPal — showed a woman breast-feeding a toddler “as both of them were nude.” The affidavit says the videos depict “the female…rubbing oil on herself and the child.” The Wisconsin woman also told police she believed her husband traveled to Florida “to meet with the suspect, where he engaged in sexual intercourse with her.”

It is not a question that has any meaning to me. It is like asking about George Foreman or something.”

JOKE OF THE DAY

A man was walking down the street when he was accosted by a particularly dirty and shabby-looking homeless man who asked him for a couple of dollars for dinner. The man took out his wallet, extracted ten dollars and asked, “If I give you this money, will you buy some beer with it instead of dinner?” “No, I had to stop drinking years ago,” the homeless man replied. “Will you use it to go fishing instead of buying food?” the man asked. “No, I don’t waste time fishing,” the homeless man said. “I need to spend all my time trying to stay alive.” “Will you spend this on greens fees at a golf course instead of food?” the man asked. “Are you NUTS!” replied the homeless man. “I haven’t played golf in 20 years!” “Will you spend the money on a woman in the red light district instead of food?” the man asked. “What disease would I get for ten lousy bucks?” exclaimed the homeless man. “Well,” said the man, “I’m not going to give you the money. Instead, I’m going to take you home for a terrific dinner cooked by my wife.” The homeless man was astounded. “Won’t your wife be furious with you for doing that? I know I’m dirty, and I probably smell pretty disgusting.” The man replied, “That’s okay. It’s important for her to see what a man looks like after he has given up beer, fishing, golf, and sex.”
