ZACH BRYAN first came onto the scene when he posted tunes to the internet a couple of years ago. Back then he was balancing what appeared to be a budding music career with his full-time job in the Navy. Now his Navy gig has ended and Zach is ready to go full-time in the touring business. Zach will kick thing off in St. Louis on October 20. • TOUR

TIM McGRAW says he popped the question to FAITH HILL a number of times, but it was backstage at a musical festival where she finally said yes. Tim was about to go on stage when he asked Faith, again, to be his wife. She said, “You’re asking me to marry you at a country music festival in a trailer house?” Tim said, “Well, it’s pretty apropos if you think about it.” Then they called him and he had to go on stage.

… When he got off the stage he went back to his trailer and saw on the mirror, written in lipstick: “Yes. I’m gonna be your wife.”

REBA McENTIRE won’t be back hosting the CMA Awards next month but does offer some advice: “You’ve got to be direct-able … if you’re running over, or running short … you’ve got to adapt to that. You can’t be locked into, ‘This is the way it’s going to be and there’s not going to be any changes.'”

REBA MCENTIRE releases a three-part, multi-themed box set today (Friday). Revived Remixed Revisited is the title: Revived will have updated classics that have evolved in Reba’s live show with new studio versions recorded with her touring band. Remixed will be a collection of remixed Reba standards. Revisited teamed Reba with Grammy award-winning producer Dave Cobb for fresh takes on familiar songs, including the anticipated DOLLY PARTON duet version of Does He Love You.

JOSH TURNER’s first Christmas album is out today (Friday). Josh says of the album, titled King Size Manger: “You may be surprised to hear my arrangement on some of these songs that you know so well. We had a lot of fun throwing out all the preconceived notions of what a Christmas record should sound like. In my opinion, it’s about the words and the heart and soul of how a song sounds. You don’t need jingle bells on a song to make it a Christmas song.”

… The holiday project features fresh interpretations of the classics and introduces four originals.
