GARTH BROOKS shared Wednesday that he’ll be playing San Diego this winter. It’s the only remaining Stadium Tour stop on the west coast. On March 5, Garth will take the stage at Petco Park, home of the San Diego Padres.

TOM T. HALL passed away this past August at the age of 85 and new details regarding the circumstances of his death have come to light. In response to a number of comments on his annual “In Memoriam” article, stating that Tom’s cause of death was by suicide, Saving Country Music writer Kyle Coroneos reached out to Williamson County, Tennessee, officials and received confirmation via the Williamson County Medical Examiner’s office. Coroneos reported that Tom had in fact died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.

MORGAN WADE has released a brand new single to country radio. Run is a song in which she sings about wanting to get away from the memory of a previous relationship with her new significant other.

… Run is the first track of six new ones on her upcoming deluxe edition of Reckless, which comes January 28.

LUKE COMBS wanted to thank ASHLEY MCBRYDE with a custom and very person end-of-tour gfit. After a show backstage Ashley was stunned to find not only Luke, but also a custom-made bar cart displaying her logo, framed by LED lights. • VIDEO

… The cart features a fridge, cooler and drawers with all of the mixers and bar accessories you could want.

… Ashley opened for Luke on the What You See Is What You Get Tour, which began in 2020, before dates were moved to 2021 due to the pandemic. She stayed on as an opener for the rescheduled dates and balanced them with her own This Town Talks Tour. Her trek with Luke wrapped on December 16.

KANE BROWN’s wife, Katelyn, has revealed how she told her husband that she was pregnant with their second child. In a sweet video that she shared online, she showed fans the actual moment that she gave him the joyous news.

… The video begins with her holding a positive pregnancy test in front of her camera. Viewers can see her famous husband asleep in bed in the background, and she makes her way over, trying to roust him by gently calling out, “Hey babe … hey babe.” Once he’s finally awake, she simply shows him the positive test in lieu of words, and a smile spreads across Brown’s face as he realizes what he’s looking at.

JON PARDI grew up in Dixon, California, and now has something in the town named after he and his grandfather. Grandpa owned the town’s old grocery store and the area will now be known as Pardi Market Plaza. The entertainment portion will be named Jon Pardi Stage.

WALKER HAYES is working on a book, titled Glad You’re Here. The title comes from a line in his song Craig, which Walker wrote about his friend, Craig Cooper. The song details the two meeting at church, and after getting to know Walker’s story, Craig gifted his family a minivan. Walker and his family were struggling to make ends meet, and the van ensured that all six of his children would be properly belted in.

… Walker says the book “documents our life together and what an impact [Craig] and his family had on us and why, which is just because of Christ.” The book will be “a deep dive into the history of their friendship.”

For the second consecutive year, COVID concerns have caused the the 64th annual Grammy Awards show to be postponed. A joint statement from The Recording Academy and CBS stated, in part: “Given the uncertainty surrounding the Omicron variant, holding the show on January 31 simply contains too many risks. We look forward to celebrating Music’s Biggest Night on a future date, which will be announced soon.”
